Prepared Childbirth Series
Prepares expectant mother and support person to work together as a team to achieve the birth of a baby with the help of relaxation and breathing techniques. Reduces anxiety through knowledge of the labor and delivery process. Also covers medication, epidurals, and postpartum and newborn issues. A tour of the Family Birthing Center is included.
*Please bring 3 bedside pillows, exercise mats will be provided. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and feel free to bring snacks.*
Two-day series: 7-9:30 p.m., Fridays and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturdays
The class fee is $65 per couple. To secure your place, a $25 (check or money order) non-refundable deposit should be mailed to the instructor at the time of registration. Please call 865-273-4270 for address to mail deposit for this class. Thanks! The remaining fee of $40 (cash only) should be paid the day of the class.
